With Paul Chyst's expected jump to Wisconsin, the Pitt fan base has seemed a bit divided on his departure. More, I think, are disappointed at losing the football team's head coach and are tired of starting over. Some, however, are welcoming the move and see it as a chance to start fresh to get beyond four consecutive 6-6 seasons.
For a (brief) time, Chryst brought some stability. But at the end of the day, the program is again starting from scratch and will be hiring yet another head coach. Since Dave Wannstedt's exit in 2010, the Panthers will be looking for their fourth head coach.
I usually run the Poll of the Week a bit earlier, but with the Chryst stuff, we understandably got a little behind. I figured, though, I'd give everyone a chance to weigh in.
So, with Chryst seemingly on his way out, give us your thoughts on his exit below.
