It's that time of the year, people. As you might expect, we'll be off today relaxing with family and friends. We'll be back later, but the oh so important news about Pat Narduzzi and everything else that we care about 364 days of the year, can wait.
In the meantime, I always like to try to take time out to thank the readers this time of year. Continuing our trend up (and thanks in big part to things like Paul Chryst and Steve Pederson leaving), we had our biggest year ever in terms of actual traffic. I'm truly pleased to say that more and more readers are being added every year. This year, in particular, we had a significant increase due to the end of year shenanigans.
And a double thanks to you if you're a reader and you contribute by joining in the conversation. That's one thing that distinguishes blogs from the MSM - reader participation. We've got opinions as writers, but at the end of the day, your opinions are just as important as ours - I really couldn't be more sincere about that. There are a lot of times we disagree, but that doesn't mean the voices of readers don't matter. Not only do they matter, but they're essential to what we do, which in my mind, is just sit around and talk about Pitt.
Yes, we cover the news. Yes, we cover games. But a huge focal point is always the discussion of that news. The discussion of those games. That's really what this site is about.
Enjoy your Christmas and we'll be back on the 26th. In the meantime, feel free to use this forum to let us know how great (or crappy) your gifts were.
