Quadree Henderson is one of the more exciting prospects in this incoming recruiting class. Henderson is the top player from the state of Delaware, and has the potential to be an instant impact player on offense and on special teams. Henderson is a consensus three-star recruit that had notable offers from Clemson, Nebraska, and West Virginia. He can find a role for Pitt as a slot receiver and as a return man. Henderson is not a big player, but is a burner in the open field and is something Pitt usually does not have in their arsenal.

Pitt obviously lacked a playmaker in the passing game this season beyond Tyler Boyd.  The offense struggled at times early in the season, but they seemed to find a rhythm as the year went on with Boyd being the only true receiving threat. It should help Boyd and the offense in general with another dangerous weapon out there.  It is not a sure thing Henderson will come in and play, but he does have an opportunity to make it happen. Manasseh Garner, Kevin Weatherspoon, and Ronald Jones are moving on after this year, and the incumbents did not make a huge impact, thus leaving a chance for Henderson to play right away.

The return game depended a lot on Boyd these past two seasons, but with Henderson and Jordan Whitehead entering the mix, it could take some pressure off of Boyd.  Henderson lights up on film with his open field running, and has the traits of a good return man.
