Paul Chryst not going to Nebraska

There was some short lived speculation that Paul Chryst was a candidate for the Nebraska job. And considering this idea was not well received, it's a good thing thing Nebraska decided to hire the coach of another coastal program in Mike Riley of Oregon State.  Mike Riley was 93-80 there.

Heard #Nebraska was determined to hire a "really good guy who ppl in the community would like" well, Mike Riley is that. Otherwise, stunning

Huh. As @IfTheShoetFITTS put it, maybe Chryst really was on their short list based off that description.

Also, Mike Riley is one of Paul Chryst's long time mentors, and Chryst did coach there for a stint. Start the Paul Chryst to Oregon State rumors!
