The NFL Combine is just around the corner and if you haven't yet heard, you'll be able to see three former Pitt stars in the event. Aaron Donald, Devin Street, and Tom Savage are all expected to participate as NFL Draft hopefuls.
The Combine is pretty important to all three, if you ask me. Donald is trying to overcome questions about his size and while there's nothing he can do about that, a strong combine would help to alleviate some fears by GMs.
Street is a guy that will almost certainly be drafted, but could really climb up the boards with a strong showing. That's particularly true since he had some injury woes this past year and didn't finish out the season.
Meanwhile, Savage is a guy with a good chance to be taken, and with a solid performance, could make that more of a possibility.
I never really take the event too seriously, but hey, it's the closest thing to NFL or NCAA football that you can get this time of year. The Combine will be February 19-25 and NFL Network will have coverage of the primary days, the 22nd through the 25th.
