As I wrote last week, Pitt is in the running for 2014 shooting guard Kobie Eubanks. His addition would certainly boost Jamie Dixon's modest recruiting class for this year.
Per ZagsBlog, Eubanks will be officially making a visit to the school on March 3rd. That visit will coincide with Pitt's basketball game against North Carolina State. The Panthers aren't the only ones up for his services, though. Eubanks is also expected to visit Wichita State, Baylor, Missouri, and Minnesota.
One thing working in Pitt's favor is that they've already landed his teammate point guard Damon Wilson in the 2015 class. The allure of playing in the same backcourt as Wilson might be too intriguing an option to pass up.
We all know that the Panthers could use a big man for next season. But as I said before, Eubanks gives them a chance at adding a quality player. Going for the best available talent here seems to be Pitt's priority.
