Former Pitt defensive lineman joined Tom Savage and the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent following the NFL Draft. Unfortunately his stay there was a brief one.
Ezell, though, got another opportunity and a few days ago, signed with the New Orleans Saints.
Ezell's chances of making the team might be slim, but SB Nation's Saints blog, Canal Street Chronicles, says that he should get his shot to impress in camp with defensive tackle John Jenkins on the Physically Unable to Perform list. in addition, the Saints also waived one of their nose tackles, Moses McCray, before taking on Ezell.
The Saints camp just got underway so now we get to see how long he is able to stick around. I've got to think that Ezell has an uphill battle ahead of him, but glad to see him get his shot to impress in a camp. That's all that most of these guys want.
