College football is just around the corner and, don't look now, but Pitt football training camp kicks off today. A couple of years ago, Cardiac Hill covered just about every practice with most of our writers in attendance at one point or another. Last year, we didn't attend nearly as many, but this year we fully expect to be back at it as we were again invited to participate.
Jim is heading down to camp today to catch the first practice and he'll be hitting several of them a week. As for me, I'm going to try to get down to one of the scrimmages and we may have some other coverage as well.
In addition, I'll be setting up a hub for all of the training camp stuff on the main page. From there, you'll be able to find all of our camp notes and posts in one handy place.
As a whole, we'll have plenty of coverage and post-practice writeups. The practices aren't open to the public, but rest assured, we'll be your eyes and ears out there. Later this morning, I'll have a top five list of things to watch over the next few weeks.
Time for football. Finally.
