True sophomore, Pitt wide receiver Tyler Boyd, continues to gain notoriety in advance of the 2014 season.
On Monday, the ACC Digital Network named Boyd one of their top 25 players to watch in the conference this year. Not only that, but Boyd ranked near the top of the list, checking at No. 5 overall. You can check out their highlight video of Boyd here.
Florida State's Jameis Winston led the way as the top player on the list.
It goes without saying, but Boyd ranking that highly as an underclassman speaks volumes about his abilities. After the freshman year he had, it's no wonder that he's getting so much attention on watch lists and stuff like this.
Still, seeing him as the focus of attention before he's even played a game as a sophomore is great to witness. And from a recruiting standpoint, he's a great guy that Paul Chryst can point to in order to show that underclassmen will get an amazing opportunity to play - even as a true freshman.
