Pitt vs. Iowa: Open Gamethread

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

It's finally time for the Pitt-Iowa game and it could be the Panthers' biggest test of the year. Iowa hasn't been all that dominant this season so far and has struggled with even some of their weaker opponents.

All of that goes out the window today, though. Fact is, anything can happen in a one-game scenario and even if Pitt happens to be the better team, you've still got to play the game. On top of that, while the Panthers have looked good, there's still a reasonable amount of questions about just how good they really are. Through three games, Pitt has played what looks to be a decent Boston College team, but also an FCS program and Florida International, one of the FBS' weakest teams.

The bottom line is that Pitt has hardly been thoroughly tested so far this year.

If you're not going to the game today, be sure to join us at noon to comment live as Pitt looks to stay unbeaten. And even if you're there, we hope you'll drop in and comment to let us know what you see.

In the meantime, as always, leave your pregame thoughts and predictions before we get started.
