Early one this weekend for Pitt as the Panthers take on Boston College tonight at 7:00 p.m. The advantage to an early week game time? National exposure (the game is on ESPN) and your Saturday is freed up for other things ... including more football.
That said, I still like Saturday games.
As we've said earlier this week, this game represents a step up in competition for both teams. We may not fully know how good each team is by the end of the night, but we should have a much better idea of where Pitt stands afterwards.
The one thing you can expect in this game is for each team to try to run the ball as they did in Week 1. The Panthers and Eagles combined for nearly 750 yards on the ground in their openers and will be looking to establish the run early, it seems.
