Going Scouting: Florida International

It is going to be tough to scout Florida International this weekend, unless you live in Miami.

Look, I'm not going to beat around the bush here...you will have trouble viewing Pitt's next opponent this weekend. Florida International will play host to the Wagner Seahawks of the FCS on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.  The game will not be on TV or even on ESPN3. Pitt plays Friday night, so you could hop on a flight down to Miami (hey, it is Miami after all) and check out the Wagner-Florida International game out in person if you're that determined to see the team's next opponent.

Luckily for us, Jim put together a nice little preview for them earlier in the summer. So far, the Golden Panthers stumbled out of the gate with a 14-12 setback to another FCS school this past weekend in Bethune Cookman. Meanwhile, Wagner will take a 1-0 record into the game after putting down Georgetown, 24-3 over the weekend.

Head coach Ron Turner looks to get his second win of his short stint at FIU this Saturday after going 1-11 last season. Your best bet is to keep checking the latest score updates on ESPN.com or you could listen to the game on Florida International's website as well.

Good luck with that.
