Pitt stars James Conner, T.J. Clemmings, and Chris Blewitt win weekly ACC awards

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, Pitt's James Conner and Matt Rotheram took home ACC weekly awards for the top offensive back and top offensive lineman, respectively. This week was more of the same.

Conner won the award for the top running back for the second week in a row after rushing for more than 200 yards against Boston College on Friday night. Tackle T.J. Clemmings was named the top offensive lineman for opening huge holes for Conner as Matt Rotheram did the previous week.

In addition, kicker Chris Blewitt won the award for the top specialist in the conference. In the Boston College game, Blewitt played a huge role, kicking three field goals (all longer than 40 yards). Blewitt also had four kickoffs go for touchbacks.

All three were a huge part of Pitt's big in-conference win over the Eagles and were deserving. Eventually, Pitt will let some other ACCers win some of these awards. Or not.
