Going Scouting: Georgia Tech (vs. Clemson)

Immediately after the Pitt-UVA game, get a look at Pitt's next opponent...the always dangerous Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt takes on the Virginia Cavaliers on today at 12:30 p.m. at Heinz Field and thanks to the schedule makers, Panther fans can take a peek at our next opponent immediately after the game.

Georgia Tech, Pitt's next foe, will travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers right after the homecoming contest on the North Shore. The Yellow Jackets are always an interesting team to get multiple looks at before playing them due to the triple option offense.

Last season, Georgia Tech went on to an 11-3 record and a win in the Orange Bowl. Last year's team also went 2-0 against the almighty SEC. The Jackets entered this season with high expectations for the first time in a long while and unfortunately, they find themselves staring at a three-game losing streak, entering this afternoon's contest at 2-3.

Head coach Paul Johnson could be looking at four straight losses as they will encounter the undefeated and sixth ranked Clemson Tigers at 3:30 p.m. today. To make matters worse, the game will take place at Memorial Stadium...or as you may know it: Clemson's own Death Valley (aka The Undertaker's hometown). You can find the game either on ESPN2 or ABC, depending on your location, to scout out the always tricky triple option attack of Georgia Tech and see what Pitt will be up against next weekend.

The Yellow Jackets, meanwhile, hope to keep Clemson head coach, Dabo Swinney from making us all cringe Dabo Dancing
