After grabbing a huge pickup on Friday in 2017 safety Paris Ford, Narduzzi received a pledge for the 2016 recruiting class in 6'1", 205 pound Aliquippa linebacker/running back Kaezon Pugh
Just confirmed with Aliquippa LB Kaezon Pugh: He committed to #Pitt tonight.

Pugh chose Pitt over a boatload of reported offers including Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Purdue, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. It became clear that Pugh only had three real contenders in Maryland, WVU, and Pitt with the last two being the main ones. It has been rumored for a while that Pugh was West Virginia bound due to being very close with former Quip Dravon Henry. Pitt seemed to be making up huge ground the last few weeks, however, and kept WVU from getting someone they wanted very badly.
I got to watch Pugh earlier this summer in one of Pitt's prospect camps and he looked awesome and definitely stood out. Very well built, and moves well both on defense and offense. I think Pitt would like to use him at linebacker, but you never know.
Pitt worked hard to show Pugh he'd have more success at Pitt, and it looks like that's won him over. Pitt is really starting to establish a terrifying future defense. There is going to be great talent all over the place. Pitt needs to nab a few more offensive guys, but the recruiting season is far from over. The coaches have made keeping the high profile talent in the Pittsburgh area in Pittsburgh their number one goal, and they are doing well so far. They've pulled in some good prospects, and are doing well with the remaining high caliber targets like Damar Hamlin, Khaleke Hudson, and Miles Sanders. Multiple people can tell you Sanders is not just offering the Panthers lip service. He is definitely considering them. If the coaches can keep Pitt's success going, they have quite a package to sell to prospects
