The commitments continue to roll in for the Panthers. After a successful weekend of landing Zack WIlliams and flipping Phil Campbell from Rutgers, Pitt has landed it's third commitment from their recent group of visitors. Justin Morgan announced via Twitter that he is also making the switch from Rutgers to Pitt, and of course Pat Narduzzi confirmed it . With Kyle Flood being fired, it has caused a bit of an exodus from the Rutgers recruiting class, and Pitt has taken advantage.
Justin Morgan is a three-star offensive linemen from Poly Prep in Brooklyn, New York. He is a massive presence that is listed at 6'7" 335 pounds. He holds offers from Rutgers and Illinois, along with Pitt. He is listed as the 8th best prospect in the state of New York by both ESPN and Rivals.
Justin Morgan becomes the third offensive line prospect to join the recruiting class. Brandon Ford committed early on, while Zack Williams committed this weekend. With three offensive linemen on board, I expect that to be it for that position in this recruiting cycle.
Pat Narduzzi and his staff have a little under two months until signing day. It remains to be seen how many players they will be able to bring into the program, but with the recent string of transfers - some spots are opening up for recruiting. Pitt is still involved with a number of their top prospects, and it should be an interesting few weeks until Fenruary 3.
