Pitt to face Navy in the Military Bowl

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

After missing out on the ACC's Tier One bowl games (despite a superior record than many teams chosen), the Panthers will head to Annapolis to face Navy in the Military Bowl.

We'll have an official preview later, obviously, but this one won't be an easy game for the Panthers. Not only will be essentially be a home game for the Midshipmen, Navy is a very good team this year at 9-2 and with a Heisman candidate, quarterback Keenan Reynolds, who has rushed for more than 1,000 yards and has 19 rushing touchdowns this year, breaking the FBS career touchdown record in the process.

The game is on a pretty inconvenient Monday afternoon, December 28th at 2:30 p.m. The good news is that in Annapolis, it's at least relatively close for most local fans to be able to make the trip if you've got the day off of work.

More details on the game as they surface.
