Pitt and Jamel Artis refuse to listen to a very vocal portion of their fan base that keeps suggesting that they can't make it to the Big Dance come March. They proved it again by continuing to make things interesting with a victory over Syracuse at The Pete over the weekend with Artis leading the way again. Louisville is coming off a rough five point loss to the top-five ranked Virginia Cavaliers. The Cardinals are still ranked in the top ten in the country and the Panthers desperately need another quality win.
That is where tomorrow night comes into play. Louisville and Rick Pitino will welcome Jamie Dixon and the Panthers to the KFC Yum! Center (there's really an exclamation point there - that is not a typo). The game will tip at 8PM and you will have to check your local listings to see if you will get the game in your local area. Of course, you can just log on and use WatchESPN, but ThisTV will also have the game in Pittsburgh.
Pitt will be looking to avenge an earlier 12 point loss, at home, to the Cards and put themselves firmly into the NCAA Tournament discussion. A couple of our writers will also be looking to avenge a loss on their predictions from last time. Can Pitt do it? Can our two writers who selected Syracuse in the last post do it? See below and remember the good news on these predictions is that, for the most part, we are not the sharpest people in the world. Comment below to let us know if you want to go against the group on this one.
Anson (8-4): Louisville
Chris (8-4): Louisville
JD (7-5): Louisville
Jim (7-5): Louisville
Aron (6-6): Louisville
Stephen (6-6): Louisville
