The ACC Tournament bracket is set with the regular season basketball action concluded. Receiving a bye in the first round, Pitt will square off against North Carolina State in the second round and play on Wednesday.
The Panthers finished as the No. 10 seed (finishing 11th in the conference standings with Syracuse ineligible for postseason play). Pitt was 8-10 in the ACC during the regular season after a late three-game slide to Wake Forest, Miami, and Florida State.
The top four seeds in the event (in order, Virginia, Duke, Notre Dame, and Louisville) all receive double byes. They will not suit up until Thursday.
Playing in the first round on Tuesday will be the bottom four seeds - Wake Forest, Boston College, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech. The Panthers missed out on needing to play an opening-round game by finishing three games ahead of 11-seed Wake Forest.
