Wide receiver Tyler Boyd was the only Panther to make ESPN.com's All-American first team, but he was one of three Pitt players to make the site's All-ACC preseason team. Joining Boyd were running back James Conner and offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty.
All three players have received a great deal of preseason recognition and with the season just around the corner, all add yet another honor to their credit.
Conner, the conference's returning Offensive Player of the Year leads the way here and he should have a fighting chance to repeat as the top star in the ACC. Boyd looks like one of the nation's top receivers and Bisnowaty should be improved after another year of experience if he can stay healthy.
With three players on the All-ACC team, the Panthers fared well in the conference. The only teams with more than Pitt's three representatives are Florida State and Virginia Tech (both had four players selected).
