Pitt vs. Virginia: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt travels to Virginia on Saturday looking for their third straight win after knocking off Marshall and, most recently, Georgia Tech.

After a couple of home games, the team gets back on the road looking to stay in the ACC Coastal Division race. Even though Virginia is only 2-3 on the year and has some ugly losses, as I said earlier in the week, the Panthers shouldn't be looking past them. Virginia has thrown for over 750 yards combined in their past two games and that's obviously a concern for the secondary, which has struggled.

The good news is that Virginia's secondary has been awful as well and their run defense has found it difficult to slow teams down. Even if Pitt's defense struggles some, the offense should put up points.

Game time is at 12:30 p.m. EST. Join us here to comment live during the game as Pitt looks for their fifth victory of the season.
