Going Scouting: Duke Blue Devils

Before Pitt takes on the big dog this week, get a sneak peek at next week’s opponent: Duke.

New Era Pinstripe Bowl - Duke v Indiana

We are all bracing for Saturday and hoping for the best against Clemson. But, before the Panthers and Tigers clash, get a sneak peek of next week’s opponent tonight. Duke will play on ESPN this evening, at 7:30 p.m. They will play host to their rivals from down Tobacco Road, the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Duke had some bad losses early with Virginia and Wake Forest and is still struggling. But even though they have lost three in a row recently, all of the games were close and were against solid or ranked teams (Louisville, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech).

Duke looks to be an unlikely candidate to take out the Tar Heels. Still, it’s a good chance to see the Panthers’ next foe in action. Wallace Wade Stadium will be the setting and the best part: Pitt doesn’t play until this weekend, so you are free and clear to sit back and watch tonight.
