Pitt vs. Duke: Open Gamethread

Mark Dolejs-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt pulled off a major upset last week, defeating No. 2 Clemson on the road with a last-minute Chris Blewitt field goal. Today, the Panthers get back home where they'll play their final two games of the regular season. The Clemson win made Pitt a bowl-eligible team so the Panthers should have a bowl game after that.

Duke is not Clemson but they are certainly dangerous. They are only 4-6 on the year, but two of those losses were by only a field goal to conference teams Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. They also pulled off a big-time upset of their own last week in defeating North Carolina, 28-27.

The focus this week for the Panthers has likely been to avoid letdown after such a big win. If the Panthers come out and play like they did against Clemson, it should result in a victory.
