Pitt vs. Syracuse: Open Gamethread

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Well, we've reached the end of another long football regular season. Regardless of the outcome today, Pitt will have one more game to play as they head to a bowl game. But in terms of the regular season, it's a wrap after today.

The Panthers have a shot to get to eight regular season wins for the second time in a row today facing Syracuse. Pitt is the better team and gets the game at home so there's a good chance they will end the season on the right note.

While Pitt comes into the game on a roll, the Orange are limping to the finish line having lost three straight games.

The game is at Heinz Field and starts at 12:30 p.m. You can catch it on WTAE-TV locally if you're not headed down to the game. Join us here to comment live during the contest as we hopefully watch the Panthers finish strong.
