Unless you've been under a rock lately, you've seen the news that Pitt will be in the market for a new offensive coordinator. This year's coordinator, Matt Canada, is heading to LSU to take the same position.
There's no doubt that the hire was an excellent one for Pat Narduzzi. Because of that, there's hope that he can strike again with another solid pick but with anything, there are no guarantees.
I've seen the concerns about Pitt not being willing to spend enough money but that simply isn't true. LSU, like a handful of others in college football, are basically playing with blank checks. Regardless of what Pitt could have paid, it's hard to imagine LSU not being able to top it. If Pitt was paying its coaches below market value, there would be greater reason for concern but that's not the case.
All of that said, how worried are you about the loss of Canada? Will Pitt find a replacement just as good or are you hitting the panic button?
