Pitt tries to rebound tonight after a momentum-sucking loss to Duquesne in last week's City Game.
The Panthers seemed primed to either slide into the Top 25 polls or come close to it after knocking off Maryland on the road. That made the loss to crosstown rival Duquesne even worse.
As I mentioned then, we got a glimpse of just how bad Pitt can be if it's missing even one of its two stars in Michael Young and Jamel Artis. The Panthers will hopefully have Artis back from suspension tonight and get things going again.
Buffalo is only 4-4 on the year, but has played a pretty challenging schedule with two Top 15 opponents in Xavier and Creighton. So unlike some other non-conference foes that the Panthers sometimes play, Pitt isn't likely the best team they've faced to this point.
Buffalo is led by 6'6" forward Blake Hamilton, who averages nearly 20 points a game.
Game time is at 7:00 p.m. and it will be on WatchESPN. Join us here to comment live during the game.
