2017 Class Pitt commit Exree Loe committed to the Panthers a while back. But the three-star defensive back continues to draw and show interest as his stock rises.
Rutgers held its junior day last weekend and Loe was there showcasing his skills. The Scarlet Knights, who Pitt tormented a bit by plucking a few of their committed recruits, quickly made an offer to Loe to join their program. Loe now holds an offer from Pitt, Rutgers, Boston College, Maryland, and Iowa State, according to Rivals.
The Pitt commit showed some interest on his end.
"I have family in New Jersey, both in Neptune and in Camden," Lee said. "I will probably will try to get back down to Rutgers."
Not Loe's fault, but whenever 'family' in another part of the country is mentioned, Pitt fans justifiably lose their collective minds after the Todd Graham fiasco.
As I said at the time, Pitt had a long way to go to his signing day. Most recruits these days love the thrill of building offers and will continue to shop around to either confirm their decision or change their minds. At the time he signed, Loe talked of being excited about being the first commit and wanting to help bring others into the fold. I would assume he is still Pitt's to lose but coaches have to be sure to continue to work to firm up his commitment with nearly a full year to go. He will continue to receive offers - and likely bigger ones.
