In advance of today's game against Georgia Tech, I wanted to take a quick look at the latest Bracketology projections out there. Following Pitt's loss to Virginia Tech, the major sites out there still consider the Panthers to be safely in the NCAA Tournament field.

Things could change in a few hours after Pitt faces the Yellow Jackets, of course. But for now, Pitt still looks very much look like it will make the field.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports is the highest on Pitt. In his bracket as of Friday, he had the Panthers as a No. 7 seed. Next, ESPN and USA Today have Pitt down at a No. 9 seed in their latest Friday bracket iterations. SB Nation thinks the least of the Panthers at this point, slotting them as a No. 10 (also as of Friday).

Pitt had a chance to really stabilize things with the Duke win. A victory against Virginia Tech likely would have cemented their standing in the NCAA Tournament. Now, the Panthers are left to grab a win on Saturday against Georgia Tech to make it clear they belong.
