Pitt will face Syracuse later today and as of right now, the Panthers are still projected to be in the NCAA Tournament according to the latest Bracketology predictions.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports remains the highest on Pitt. Palm has the Panthers as a No. 9 seed. And while CBS Sports says the loser of the Pitt-Syracuse game will have a nervous Selection Sunday, the site also says Pitt is 'probably' in (presumably, despite Wednesday's result).

USA Today has Pitt one seed lower as a No. 10 seed facing No. 7 seed Wisconsin out in St. Louis. Joe Lunardi and ESPN similarly has the Panthers as a No. 10 seed. Lunardi has the team out west facing Seton Hall in Spokane.

While Pitt will have a chance to improve its seeding with a run in the ACC Tournament, the immediate goal is clear - win on Wednesday against Syracuse to virtually lock up an invitation.
