Linebacker Nicholas Grigsby was one of three Pitt football players to sign with teams as undrafted free agents following the 2016 NFL Draft (Cornerback Lafayette Pitts signed with the Dolphins while tight end J.P. Holtz ended up in Cleveland). Shortly after the conclusion of the event, it was announced he was signing with the Los Angeles Rams.
Next Pitt UFDA to find a new home: OLB Nicholas Grigsby agrees to terms with the Los Angeles Rams, according to his agent Jeff Graham.

Grigsby, of course, will join former Pitt star Aaron Donald if he manages to stick with the club.
The linebacker was one of those guys that continually got better during his time at Pitt and becoming a starter in his final year probably helped him land a tryout. He played in almost every game over his first three years but only started five of them. This past season, Grigsby started all 13 of the team's games and he gained a little more recognition. In 2015, he was fourth on the team in tackles (66) and had 9 1/2 tackles for losses (3 1/2 of which, were sacks). He was also named Third Team All-ACC and was ACC Linebacker of the Week once this year.
