Pitt announced today that its football game against Oklahoma State this fall will kick off at 3:30 p.m. The road game on September 17th in Oklahoma will be on ESPN.
Getting a mid-afternoon time slot on a national telecast is a nice deal for Pitt. It also means its one less game that fans will need to view on ESPN3.
The announcement ensures that at least two of the team's four non-conference games will be available either on ESPN or ABC (which could show the Penn State game). The opener against Villanova is set for ESPN3 while the contest against Marshall is to be announced.
Overall, it is the third ESPN/ABC game for the Panthers as the team will also appear on ESPN for the Thursday night game against Virginia Tech on October 27th at 7:00 p.m
