Steven Adams has warmed our hearts with many hilarious answers during interviews, but his exit interview from yesterday is perhaps setting a new high.
Adams really emerged onto the scene in the playoffs for Thunder and is proving to be a vital piece of the team's plans heading down the road. If I am a general manger and you could ink me a starting five of Russell Westbrook, Dion Waiters, Kevin Duran, Serge Ibaka and Adams, I'd sign on.
Here's the problem, Durant is a free agent, and there is the most highly anticipated free agent since LeBron James' infamous decision and then subsequent return to Cleveland just four years later.
Adams was asked about whether he was going to be in contact with the superstar Durant during his decision process to which he said:
Adams on talking to Durant: "I'm real low on the totem pole, by the way. I'm just lucky to have his number."

Adams himself will be in the know though:
Steven Adams on how he'll follow KD's free agency: "Just flick him a text and see what he's going to do, I guess."

As for what he will look like next season:
Steven Adams on what he'll look like next season: "Like Chewbacca, mate. Just hair everywhere."

And last but not least in regards to his sister competing in the summer Olympics:
Adams on if he'll go to Rio to watch his sister: "They have that weird disease down there. I need to do some research before I go."

These are just some of the golden quotes that I found on Twitter on what was a humorous day of quotes from Adams.
Oh, and he was wearing his "stache brothers" shirt to the exit interviews, his "stache brother" Enes Kantor also wore the shirt, literally that shirt, Adams took it off and gave it to him for his interview.
Long live Steven Adams, his flow and his quotes.
