Former Pitt cornerback K’Waun Williams is starting to make his mark in the NFL. Undrafted after graduating from the school, Williams landed with the Cleveland Browns and has not only stuck, but begun turning into a pretty good player. Earlier this year, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports actually called the former Panther one of the more underrated players in the NFL.

Williams, though, is having some trouble out in Cleveland. There seems to be some dispute as to his health status with Williams apparently wanting a second opinion on an ankle injury, according to reports. However, Browns coach Hue Jackson refused to say when ask if his absence from practice was excused or unexcused.

The team is taking it a step further. Per Ian Rapoport, Cleveland is now suspending Williams for two weeks for the ongoing dispute. In a prior tweet, Rapoport also says that Williams is unhappy because he wasn’t the starter at nickel back.

Whatever the issue, hopefully Williams gets squared away and can get back onto the field.
