Pitt vs. Penn State: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Today's game needs little introduction after all we've talked about it this week. Pitt returns to action in a rivalry game with Penn State as the two teams play a football game for the first time since 2000.

Since the series was announced a while back, there's been a lot of talking on both sides. That's really ramped up in the past year with the game looming on the schedule and it's finally time to play the game.

The Panthers have a bit of an advantage getting the game at Heinz Field. But you can pretty much throw everything out the window here besides that. Both teams want this game and after wins last weekend, one of them will start the season 2-0 as we get closer to conference play.

Game time is at noon. If you're not down at the stadium, you can watch it on ESPN as it's a national telecast. Get ready, gear up, and comment live during the game with us.
