Pitt suffered another defeat on Saturday, losing 35-17 to NC State at Homecoming. There weren’t too many great individual performances out there, but one player that turned in a decent game was receiver Jester Weah. He’s my Panther of the Week for his game.
Weah had seven catches for 106 yards and one of Pitt’s two touchdowns on the day. His seven catches tied for the most he’s had in his career, matching his seven grabs in the Marshall game last season. The 106 yards were second most this season and the fourth most of his career.
The Pitt senior wasn’t perfect and he had at least one drop in the game. But he scored one of Pitt’s touchdowns and also had three catches on the field goal drive in the second half. Overall, he had a pretty solid game for the Panthers.
