Pitt baseball scores two blowout wins in fall scrimmages

Baseball Alex Amos 2017

The Pitt baseball season doesn’t get underway for a while but the Panthers are participating in some fall scrimmage action ahead of next year. The team had two games this fall, easily winning both.

Back on October 10th, the team bested the Ontario Blue Jays, 15-2. In their second and final game on Sunday, they beat Lackawanna College, 23-0.

You can’t take much away from these games, obviously. The big picture here is that Pitt got some work in, scored a lot of runs, and pitched well. But the competition isn’t close to what they’ll face in the ACC.
