Poll
Will Pitt’s football team reach a bowl game this year?
Pitt sits at 2-3 on the season and while they’ve made it to nine consecutive bowl games, that string seems to be in jeopardy.
There’s still lots of season left and we’re not even to the halfway point yet. But a glance ahead at the team’s schedule shows plenty of tough matchups left. Virginia Tech and Miami are both ranked and are the toughest games remaining. A ranked North Carolina State team is right behind them and won’t be easy.
The Panthers’ most winnable games are against Syracuse, Virginia, Duke, and North Carolina. But sweeping those teams to get to six wins seems like a stretch.
A bowl game is still very much possible but it’s going to take a lot of work. How do you see the Panthers’ situation? Will they reach a bowl game this year?
