While most teams will be playing today, the Panthers already had their weekly game of the footballs on Thursday in a disappointing loss to North Carolina.
That game, of course, didn’t work out for the home team. But one guy had a great game and that was running back Darrin Hall, who was my Panther of the Game.
Hall continued his strong second half to the season another incredible game, rushing for 121 yards and four touchdowns. It was Hall’s third straight 100-yard game and he’s now up to 594 on the season. That doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s remarkable considering he barely played in the first seven games of the year. Nearly 500 yards has come in the past three games as Hall has been on an absolute tear.
In addition to his big game running the ball, he also added a 30-yard reception against the Tar Heels.
Pitt had lots of guys come up short in the game but Hall wasn’t one of them.
