Pitt’s football team was poised to make the end of this season interesting as the headed into the game against North Carolina last week. But an upset loss later and Pitt now stands at 4-6 on the year. The team can still make a bowl game but will need to pull off a minor miracle by beating Virginia Tech and Miami to automatically become eligible.
As I’ve written before, five wins can, on rare occasion, get you in, too. But that’s generally in rare cases and even if spots are available, you’re fighting against other 5-7 teams to get in.
With Pitt’s postseason hopes looking much less likely, are you still paying attention this season or has the North Carolina loss made you check out until next year?
