The Pitt men's basketball team continues their growing experience with a game tonight against UC Santa Barbara. The Gauchos, of course, aren't a great team but will still likely test the young and inexperienced Panthers.
Pitt sits at 0-2 on the season after dropping their home opener to Montana on Monday. UCSB enters 1-0 after blowing out North Dakota State, 85-66. Of note is that the Panthers will see another high-scoring guard in freshman Max Heidegger. Heidegger scored 33 points against North Dakota State and if the Panthers can't contain him as was the case against Montana's Michael Oguine, it could be another long night.
