Cardiac Hill Poll: Optimism for Pitt football in 2018?

NCAA Football: Miami at Pittsburgh Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt’s football team had plenty of ups and downs in 2017 and, after a 5-7 record, the Panthers finished under .500 for the first time since 2007. But while it was a mostly down year, Pitt did give its fans some optimism for the future.

The Panthers’ defense improved significantly by season’s end and Pitt may now have a quarterback for the future after a strong performance by true freshman Kenny Pickett in an upset finale over No. 2 Miami. Given all of that, are you more optimistic for the future now after the game against the Hurricanes?
