As indicated by Roc in the picture here, Christmas is fast approaching. But the Pitt men’s basketball team has one more game to go before they start an eight-day break for the holidays.
Pitt faces Towson tonight in, dare I say, kind of an intriguing game. Towson isn’t a major-conference team but they are off to a 10-2 start. And even though the Panthers get the game at home, they’re actually a slight underdog.
Pitt could certainly lose the game and that’s especially true as the team continues to miss senior leader Ryan Luther. But I’m also not convinced that Towson isn’t a little overrated here, too. As I stated earlier, they haven’t beaten anyone and have had some really close wins to teams that aren’t real good.
