Three Pitt football players have announced their plans to enter to the 2018 NFL Draft. USA Today has an early list of notable entrants thus far.

The list is a pretty short one right now as only 23 players are on it. It obviously expects to grow quite a bit in the coming weeks. The biggest holdup are the many bowl games that have yet to be played. Several players not wanting to cause a distraction will probably make their intentions known following the end of their season.

As far as the ACC goes, the only other players in conference to declare according to the list are Florida State safety Derwin James, Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander, and Miami running back Mark Walton.

Texas is the only school with more players listed than Pitt’s three as they have four that have declared for the draft.
