Local Pitt Football Media Predictions for 2017 season

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Sports Now rounded up some Pitt football predictions from local media. I added my thoughts and my general feeling for this team is another 8-4 year.

That likely won't please head coach Pat Narduzzi if it happens but it would be a solid year with a challenging schedule and lots of key personnel losses from last year. The non-conference schedule is difficult with two ranked teams and while the Panthers avoid the deadly Florida State/Clemson pairing this season, they also must face the competition in the Coastal, which includes Miami, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina squads that have all been above average teams.

You can check out the predictions of local media type folk here.
