Tonight, Pitt faces Syracuse on the road in the team's sixth ACC matchup of the year. The Panthers are still winless in conference play and the Orange are also reeling a bit, too.
Syracuse started the season 12-2 but has lost four straight in conference. Unlike Pitt, though, Syracuse has at least been competitive in the ACC. They defeated Virginia Tech, a team that beat the Panthers, and have lost by double digits only once in the ACC this year - an 11-point loss to Florida State.
Still, four losses in a row is still four losses. That's why the 17 1/2-point spread in tonight's game might seem a bit high. Perhaps oddsmakers, though, are realizing just how bad this Pitt team is. After being about that big of an underdog against Duke, the Panthers were blown out by 35 points.
Game time is at 9:00 p.m. and you can catch it on AT&T Sportsnet locally.
