The Pitt men’s basketball team looks to continue its hot start with a game tonight against Troy. The Panthers are 2-0 and will be hoping to remain undefeated with new head coach Jason Capel.
Troy should be a step up in competition, I’m guessing. They defeated Fort Valley State by 35 points in their opener before narrowly losing, 62-58, to Saint Louis on the road. In other words, I don’t expect another Pitt blowout tonight. If Pitt wins comfortably, that would be a nice achievement for such a young team.
Vegas, FWIW, expects a very close game. Pitt is favored by only 5 1⁄2 points tonight.
