Pitt vs. Boston College: Open Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: Pittsburgh at Clemson Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

After an embarrassing loss to Louisville on Sunday, tries to right the ship tonight against Boston College.

Typically, the Eagles would present a great opportunity for a win. But in an upside-down sort of year for the Panthers, there aren’t really any conference games that present great chances for victory. Pitt remains winless in the ACC and faces a Boston College team that’s 15-10 on the year.

The Eagles haven’t been great in conference but do have five ACC victories, including some nice upsets against Duke and, most recently, No. 25 Miami. They also nearly beat ranked Virginia and Clemson in back-to-back games, losing by a combined five points.

In other words, this isn’t your typical Boston College team.
