Former Pitt running back Dion Lewis, who spent the last three seasons with the New England Patriots, will sign with the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

The deal is worth $20 million over four years and will include at least $3 million in incentives, placing Lewis among the top 10 highest paid running backs in the NFL. The new contract is a major improvement on his deal with the Patriots, which saw him earn $2.6 million over his last two years in New England, according to Spotrac.

Although Lewis has been in the league since 2011, his career only began to take off upon his arrival in New England, as he became a notable member of the team’s platoon of running backs before eventually establishing himself as the Patriots’ top back in 2017. Last season, he accounted for nine touchdowns and 1,110 yards from scrimmage, including 896 rushing yards.

He’ll be part of a similar combo in Nashville, where he’ll join Derrick Henry, who ran for 744 yards and five touchdowns in his second NFL season.
