The Pittsburgh Panthers men’s basketball team isn’t set to take the court until late in the year. Still, it will be a busy summer for both incumbent and new players alike. It’s an exciting time if you’re a fan, a feeling that many of those same fans weren’t experiencing this time last year. That’s saying something when you consider that the team lost their two most promising young players in guards Marcus Carr and Parker Stewart.
Losing your floor general and best shooter hurts, and it leaves two gaping holes in the roster. On the flip side, that also creates a tremendous amount of opportunity. Not just for the players who will step into those roles, but also for the players who need to increase their overall production to make up for the loss.
While I am going to get to the new players at some point this summer, I want to know which incumbent player you think needs to take the biggest step forward this summer to help right the ship.
