(Don’t) Bet the Farm: Pitt-Albany Game Picks

Pitt opens its season this weekend with a game against Albany and the Panthers, of course, are heavy favorites to win.

This year, we’ll continue with our weekly staff picks before games. Last year, we had a three-way tie for first as myself, JD, and Jordan all finished 9-3 with our picks. Historically, here are each year’s winners of the picks competition since we started doing these in 2013.

2015: Anson/Aron (tie)
2016: Corey
2017: Anson/JD/Jordan (tie)

So, was anyone bold enough to take Albany in a big upset over Pitt this weekend? Nope. Everyone is on board with Pitt here and expects to start the season 1-0 heading into their big matchup with Penn State next weekend.
